High-Precision CD Playback:
Shanling CT90 is with an industry-standard Philips SAA7824 Servo and DA11 Laser Head. This optimized configuration ensures stable, lag-free disc reading and significantly reduces jitter and mechanical noise. The CD player has top-loading mechanism with a precision-tuned CD puck and a tillable cover, providing both stability and satisfying user experience.
Dedicated Upsampling Engine:
Shanling CT90 incorporates a CT7302 upsampling chipset that can reshape the standard 16-bit/44.1kHz Red Book CD signal into high-resolution formats before it leaves the transport. This allows compatible DACs to receive a pre-elevated signal, potentially enhancing performance.
Extensive Digital Output Suite:
- I2S over HDMI – Managed by an FPGA with 10 selectable pinout configurations, ensuring broad compatibility with third-party DACs from manufacturers like Denafrips, Matrix Audio, and PS Audio.
- Dual AES/EBU (XLR) outputs – A rare feature at this price point, allowing direct connection to high-end active studio monitors or professional DACs with balanced inputs.
- Coaxial S/PDIF – Standard RCA connector for universal compatibility.

High-Precision Clocking System:
Shanling CT90 features dual high-precision crystal oscillators (45 MHz and 49.9 MHz) that operate at frequencies aligned with the 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz audio standards, minimizing jitter across the digital signal chain.
Multiple Digital Sources:
- USB Drive Playback – Connect a USB storage device (up to 2TB) to play high-resolution files including PCM up to 768kHz, DSD512, and MQA. Supported formats include FLAC, WAV, AIFF, APE, ALAC, DSD, ISO, and more. Control playback via the Eddict Player app (iOS/Android) using Shanling's SyncLink technology.
- Bluetooth Input – Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 with support for LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC codecs, allowing wireless streaming from smartphones or portable devices directly to your DAC.
- USB Input (DAC Mode) – Use the CT90 as a USB digital transport interface for computers. Notably, the CT90 has no Wi-Fi connectivity
Linear Power Supply
The CT90 features a rigid aluminum chassis. The 4.8-inch color display clearly shows playback information and system settings, while controls are conveniently placed on the top panel for easy access when the unit is placed on a low shelf or desk.

Shipping address
Please make sure that you have provided the correct and current address for shipping and delivery. You may use P.O. boxes as your shipping address. But certain items can only be delivered to physical addresses. Large products, valuables, perishables, products with age-based restrictions, or items shipped via private carriers may require a physical mailing address or signature confirmation to be successfully delivered. Items cannot be delivered to security-restricted areas such as military bases.
Shipping time and cost
1) After an order has been successfully paid and confirmed, you will see the estimated delivery time and cost for shipping on your order confirmation page. You will also receive an order confirmation message that will outline the estimated processing time for your order.
2) The warehouse may take 1-3 days to process your order. You will receive a message once your order has been shipped.
3) You'll receive a shipment notification message that will provide you with the estimated delivery time for each package once it is shipped. We will also provide you the tracking number when it is ready. You can view this estimated delivery time under each package in your order history at the same time.
4) In most cases, your order will be delivered within the estimated time of delivery. However, the actual delivery date may be affected by flight arrangements, weather conditions, and other external factors. Please refer to the tracking information for the most up to date delivery date.
Issues regarding delivery
If your package has not been delivered or your tracking information shows that your package has been delivered but you have not received it, please contact our customer service immediately and within 30 days of the order date.
